DEKRA works closely with its customers to ensure quality and safety. We carry out inspections, tests and assessments in various areas of industry: steel structures, ISO 9001, ISO 3834, EN 1090, pressure equipment, electrical equipment, fire alarm and extinguishing systems, and non-destructive (NDT) and destructive testing (DT) of materials.

Testing operations in Finland since 1974

DEKRA Industrial Oy began its operations in 1974 under the name Polartest Oy. Today, DEKRA Industrial Oy is owned by DEKRA SE, an international inspection and testing service provider with headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. DEKRA has three business units: vehicle testing, industrial equipment testing and inspections, and personnel services (e.g. training). DEKRA is the third largest inspection and testing company in the world today.

With its international network, DEKRA is able to offer global contacts and facilitate international activities. DEKRA has over 200 employees in Finland. Worldwide, we employ approximately 44,000 professionals helping deliver safety, quality and environmental sustainability in more than 50 countries.
